Bruce Lipton – Biology of Perception 3 of 7: We are NOT controlled by our Genes

We are NOT controlled by our Genes. We are controlled by our responses to our environment.
Protein provides for our structure.
Proteins change shape to create behavior.
Muscle contracts because of a signal caused by calcium.
The brain of your cells is the structure which controls what signals to tell the cells what to do in response to the environment.
The brain our our cells is the membrane of our cells. The nucleus of our cells were DNA is stored is the reproductive center of our cells. DNA holds the patterns of the 70,000 to 90,000 different proteins that make up our body. Our DNA can not think. Our DNA inside our cells repairs the proteins that make up our cells.
Our cell membrane acts as the brain of our cells, controlling what signals come into the the cells effecting behavior.
Our life is controlled by how we respond to our environment.
Our cell membranes are like a bread and butter sandwich made up of 2 layers with a fat layer in between. On top of this bread and butter sandwich there are antennas made up of proteins looking for environmental signals called receptors. Receptors are connected to Effectors which act as output and cause behavior.
